The Service Pack update SP1.2009.1222 for Real Environment Xtreme FS2004 is now available.

INSTALLATION OF THE PATCH
Download the patch from the link above. Run the patch and follow the instructions. For Windows Vista and W7 users, please be sure to right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator".
The service pack fixes and enhances many of the items from the original release, which includes:
- Added WASys icon to taskbar when in use (per user feedback)
- Added FSUIPC options to Configuration window to allow user to config custom general FSUIPC settings (per user feedback)
- Fixed cloud handling and missing clouds issue with the REX weather engine
- Fixed the cloud layer issue within the wxtemp.xml file
- Fixed reset of re-load of weather if aircraft passes weather range before auto re-load
- Fixed issue with importing FSBuild flight plans and waypoints not showing
- Fixed water environment reflections
- Fixed Cumulus 32 transparency (per user feedback)
- Fixed Cumulus 53 transparency (per user feedback)
- Fixed Restore function in Configuration window
- Fixed Ocean Water colorization and installation
- Fixed Ocean Water Set 1 (per user feedback)
- Fixed Wave Animation set 05 (per user feedback)
- Revised aircraft reflection file (per user feedback)
- Increased time before auto-loading weather into FS9 when using the REX weather engine
- Adjusted formula for winds aloft
Although several key items have been corrected with the Weather Engine in this service pack, a second service pack in the works will include some new under-the-hood enhancements and fixes.

Yanliz bir tek sorunum var havada ucus esnasinda Rex2 yeni weather update almasi ve ardindan bunu Fsx icine aktarmasi sirasinda inanilmaz bir sekilde ucakta ani yuseklik kaybetmesi, hiz dusmesi ve yukselmeleri yasanmakta bununla birliktede malumunuz ucak over speed olup 100 puanda haneye yazilmakta. Ucus sirasinda defalarca update sirasinda yasanan bu olayin sebebi hakkinda yardimci olup fikir destegi verecek arkadaslara simdiden tesekkur ederim.

WX Engine Update Range - The REX2 weather engine does not use time as a basis for when to update but rather, uses distance traveled instead. You therefore can adjust the frequency the weather engine updates by adjusting this slider to the left or right, increasing or decreasing the update radius. This effectively adjusts the distance you have to travel before the weather engine will update. If you want the weather engine to update less frequently, increase the update radius by moving the slider to the right. Move the slider to the left if you want the weather engine to update more frequently. The slider can be moved by grabbing the slider bar with the mouse and moving it to the desired position. The available distances are 60, 120 240, and 300 nm. Once the aircraft has traveled beyond this radius from the last update position, the weather engine will update again.
1) It’s vital to realize that the weather engine will not update if the aircraft has not traveled approximately the distance the slider is set at. This means that if aircraft is flying in a relatively small area around the departure airport, such as sightseeing, but has not traveled far enough to fly beyond the update radius, the weather engine will not update. It doesn’t matter how long the aircraft has been flying or what route the aircraft has used nor other airports the aircraft has been to; what is critical is that the aircraft needs to fly beyond that radius in order to update. Also, the weather will not update while the aircraft is sitting on the ground at the airport, no matter how long it sits there. At this point the user has two choices: 1) Force a weather update by using the LOAD WX button on the WASys or 2) set the slider at a low enough value that the aircraft, will easily fly beyond it.
2) You will need to consider what type of aircraft you want to fly and how fast it flies. A single engine Cessna has a speed of around 100 kts. If the update radius is set at 300 nm, that aircraft will have to fly 3 hours before the weather will update even once. That is just about the maximum range of that aircraft. Similarly, a jet flying at 36,000’ is flying at 500-600 kts, which is about 8-10 nm/min. This means that an update radius of 60 nm will result in an update every 6-7 minutes. For slow and low fliers, a value of 60 nm is about right and for heavy iron fliers, 240 works well when over populated areas. 300 nm is good if flying long distances over desert, oceans, or where there aren’t many weather stations.

Hava durumunu bende sorunsuz fs e aktarıyor.
Gayet güzel şu anda nazar değmesin:)
Patch te daha çok bulut gerçekciliği ve yine weather radardaki sorunların düzeltildiği belirtilmiş.

bir kaç gün önce rex i gayet güzel kurduk; denedik bilimum tüm ayarları kurcaladık. görüntüler gayet güzel hatta harika; özellikle pist ve ışıklandırmalar inanılmaz; yalnız şöyle bir sıkıntı var;
rex makinayı inanılmaz kasıyor; makina ne derseniz; Gigabyte P55M anakart; İntel İ7 core 860 işlemci; 4 gb kingston 1333 Mhz ram; ati radeon 4650 pro 1 gb ekran kartı ve Win 7 ultimate 32 bit;
bu arada samsung 500 gb 32 mb cache x 2 HDD ye gayet güzel RAID 0 kurduk; sistem raidli yani....
özellikle çok bulutlu bir hava seçip dışarıdan görünüşe aldığımızda bu makinayı dahi kasıyor... hafif sekmeler oluyor görüntünün yönünü değiştirirken...
yalnız biraz önce forumumuzda FS9 Affinity tool die bir program hakkında yorumları okudurm; akşama bir kontrol edip tüm yükün bir işlemciye binip binmediğine bakacağm; eğer öyle ise kasması normal herhalde...

Cenk ve Onur kaptanlarım; FS9 Affinity Tool da kuruldu ama REX'ten weather yükleyince kasmaya devam etmekte. ANtalyadan bir kalkış yapayım dedim malum buralar bu aralar fırtınalı; turbulanslar şimşekler derken yolcular epey tırstı; REX işini gayet güzel yapıyor yani 
ancak sanki tek işlemcili bilgisayarda düşük seviye bir ekran kartı ile oynuyormuşum gibi geldi. o kadar alet kasıldı yani... affinity tool işini gayet güzel yaptı 8 işlemcinin 4 üne böldü programı ama nafile.....
acaba nerede olabilir sıkıntı? ekran kartının en son sürücüsünü de yükledim ama dx10.1 de yüklü..
acaba directx ten yapabilir mi? yani dx9.0 a dönsek düzelirmi hiç bilemedim... akıl verin valla çıldıracam
not: hatta direct x 11 yüklü imiş. az önce dxdiag tan baktım....

Bulutların yogun oldugu zaman bulut içinden geçerken farkedilir yavaşlama tıkanama oluyor pcde.Benim makina özellikleri de iyi.
Ben REX configrasyon bölümünde sistem seçimini min yaptım ve bulut detaylarını min yaptım.Biraz daha iyi oldu.
