If you have router it is required to open UDP port 3290 by config the router, to continues receive VATSIM voice.
There are two general way to do this:
1. To open and forward port UDP 3290 to the IP-address of the PC with SB3 (static IP address at the PC are recommended).
2. To open port UDP 3290 trigged by TCP 6809 ( 'cause SB3 does continues send messages at TCP 6809, IP-address of the PC with SB3 are not required to know, i.e. dynamic or static IP adress no matter).
However if you send voice, the port should automatically be hold open by the router to receive voice for a while. That mean if you push the SB3 push to talk button, you should be able to receive VATSIM voice for a while after the push (router open port timeout).
It is not likely required to open router port to send voice to VATSIM. While antivirus in PC may block any ports and 'cause problem.
1. Make sure SB3 COM X indicate ON (voice-server connection) and Rx (on receive voice) and Tx (on intend to send voice).
2. Run FS in Window-mode (not full screen), so that you see firewall-messages under Windows.
3. Try an uninstall of antivirus in PC as it is proved sometime help. (uninstall is typical the only way to complete disable an antivirus). As you have a router you have a firewall in the router and Windows firewall are not required during test. Arkadaslar bu yaziyi VATSIM forumunda buldum. Yine benimi gibi sesli iletisim yapamayan birisinin sorusuna cevap olarak yazilmis. O resimde gosterdigi gibi On ve Rx isiklari bende hic yanmadi. Konusma butonuna basdigimda Tx isigi yaniyor sadece. Birgun bir ATC online iken (Serhat Ervatan) epey bi deneme yaptik ama olmadi. Kendisi benim PTT tusuna basdigimi ekraninda goremedigini soyledi. Normalde gorunurmus.
Ben yurtta kalan bir ogrenciyim ve VATSIM'e yurttan baglaniyorum. Bende router gibi bir cihaz yok ama sonucta baglandigimiz bir router cihazi var biz gormesekte. Kendisi router'de UDP port'u acmayi soylemis ama onu da nasil yapacagim hakkinda bir bilgi yok. Sunu sormak istiyorum, bu gibi toplu baglanti yapilan yerler benim VATSIM baglantimda sorun cikarir mi?
Birde firewall ayarlarina da baktim sqbox izinli, virus programi olarakta AVG Free kullaniyorum ama silmek istemiyorum su anda. Teknik bilgisi yuksek olan arkadaslar bana bu konuda yardimci olabilirlerse sevinirim. Bu arada yanlis anlasilmasin ben yazinin ne demek istedigini veya cevirisini sormuyorm.
